We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated individual that is willing to go above and beyond to provide high quality work under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment. The copywriter is responsible for brainstorming, creating and transforming ideas into copy for all varieties of media. They will work closely with the MassMedia team to develop ideas, while recognizing, adapting and implementing new strategies and solutions to create the best possible product for our clients while reaching the target audience.


• Conceptualize, write & execute clear, persuasive, original copy for all mediums
• Revise, edit, and proofread copy or content as needed
• Work closely and collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to determine campaign needs
• Work on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often with tight deadlines
• Check copy for spelling and grammar errors
• Demonstrate how ideas tie together both brand and media strategies
• Respond to feedback in a timely manner
• Deliver high quality work to achieve our client and business goals
• Develop and maintain a clear and consistent brand voice
• Oversees campaigns from production to completion
• Explore new ideas, concepts, and industry trends for both visual and verbal elements
• Stay current about clients’ businesses, industry landscape, and product strategies and information

Position Qualifications

Skills and Abilities:
• Strong understanding of the goal, audience, and message of a campaign and the ability to create copy to suit
• Creative problem solver
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with little direction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter possessing agility and foresight to manage changing requirements
• High level of detail, creativity and strategic ability
• Has a firm grasp on classic grammar rules and syntax
• Experience with ProofHQ and Function Point is a plus
• Experience with drafting healthcare copy is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as English or Journalism
• 2-3 years of copywriter experience required
• 1+ years of marketing/advertising agency experience required
• Portfolio that demonstrates your ability to do work that appeals to diverse audiences and clients
• Travel required - if located in Los Angeles, 50% travel to Las Vegas is required

Job Type:
• Full time, non-exempt hourly position
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm - occasional evening and weekend work may be required
