Healthcare Account Director

MassMedia is a fast-growing advertising and public relations agency that is headquartered in Las Vegas, NV. We are a results driven, award winning firm with deep expertise in the healthcare sector and we are seeking an Account Director to join our Healthcare Division. This position can be based out of our Las Vegas office, or for the right candidate, we are open to a remote position with some travel to Las Vegas required.

The Account Director is responsible for managing senior level client relationships, driving collaboration across the specialist teams, ensuring efficient development and implementation of project plans, managing client budgets and agency resources, and supporting new business and organic growth initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Clearly understands client objectives and strategic imperatives and effectively communicates their needs to the internal team
• Develops/maintains strong relationships with clients
• Oversees the development of annual client plans and budgets
• Maintains a robust knowledge of Healthcare category and competitive environment that impacts client business
• Ensure client projects are on strategy and integrated with the client’s overall business plans
• Proactively provides clients with marketing insights and problem solving
• Provides project direction, timing, and budgets to internal team
• Ensures client deliverables are on target and meet deadlines
• Ensures consistency of ongoing weekly status meetings and follows up with client
• Manages and oversees accounts support team
• Works closely with Agency department heads to identify resource needs in advance to meet deadlines and balance the needs of multiple clients
• Supervise preparation of job budgets, approves internal budgets and allocating hours to team members
• Monitors financial performance of accounts to maximize income generation
• Understands client forecast/budget issues
• Assists with client/vendor contract negotiations
• Reviews contracts/billing structure to update or revise as needed
• Grows account organically and identifies new opportunities
• Directly participates (as appropriate) in new business presentations with senior management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 5-8 years of experience in an ad agency required
• 4+ years direct supervisory experience required
• Healthcare marketing experience is required
• New business development experience is a plus
