Media Buying Coordinator

VP of Media Buying

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
The Media Buying Coordinator will work with the various teams to help coordinate and support media-buying activities. The Media Buying Coordinator will be comfortable learning new software, and be highly skilled in the MS Office suite. 

Key responsibilities and expectations:
• Create and send print, out-of-home, and digital orders to media vendors
• Collect and maintain record of all confirmation orders
• Create and review all client media invoices for accuracy
• Review all media vendor invoices for accuracy and verification
• Resolve print, out-of-home, and digital media vendor invoice discrepancies
• Liaison between project manager/account service team, media buying team, accounting team, integrated marketing team and vendors
• Maintain up to date media kits for all vendors to include: specs, ad submission requirements/protocol by vendor, contacts
• Support media buying department by compiling monthly metrics for end-of-the month client reports to include client tear sheets
• Must be willing to learn Strata
• Update and maintain internal traffic chart to ensure all ads are on the schedule and being trafficked by the deadline
• Compile research for media planning as needed
• Update and maintain media contact lists
• Coordinate all upcoming traffic deadlines with the project manager/account service team on a monthly, weekly, and daily basis

• Bachelor's degree in advertising, liberal arts, marketing, or business administration preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively to managers and co-workers in the providing or the gathering of information related to assigned tasks
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while being mindful of priorities and deadlines
• A passion for advertising
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, with an emphasis on Excel
• Knowledge of Strata a plus
